JIPMER organises two-day painting exhibition-cum-sale
Puducherry, Oct 18(UNI) The Students Social Service Committee of JIPMER here today organised a two-day painting exhibition-cum-sale.
About twenty paintings by students of the JIPMER, Bharathiyar Palkalaikoodam and several medical and engineering colleges here and Bangalore were on display at the exhibition titled 'Un Bel Espoir' (A Beautiful Hope).
JIPMER Director K S V K Subba Rao, who inaugurated the exhibition said the motive behind the exhibition was to raise money from the sale of paintings, which would be used to sponsor the education of underprivileged children.
