Influx Group plans retail expansion in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Oct 18 (UNI) With a mega expansion and growth plan, the Pune-based Influx Group today announced its plan to open 50 more retail stores by March next year in Tier II and III cities of the state.

Influx Group Chairman and Managing Director Shivaaji Chamkire said that the group would open 1,000 stores in various parts of the country by 2010. The group has nine stores in Gujarat and has 200 outlets spread over in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Rajasthan.

The Group's supermarkets, designed for the new age customers, offer over 5,000 products at the lowest price. The group also plans to reach out to the rural segment and offer them more than retail experience.

Influx Mart has created its own brands like 'Feelgood', a brand in apparels and accessories, and 'Delight', a brand which has quality food products which includes grocery and staples, tea, honey, spices, pickles, jams and sauces and a range of packed foods.

Mr Chamkire added at Influx Mart, every activity is customer centric and aimed towards winning a loyal customer.
