Chambal Fertilisers Q2 net down 19.86 pc at Rs 47.56 cr
New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Chambal Fertilizers&Chemicals Ltd, a part of the KK Birla Group, today said it has registered a 19.86 per cent fall in its net profit at Rs 47.56 crore for the second quarter ended September 2008, against Rs 59.35 crore during the corresponding period last year.
It, however, posted a whopping jump of 138.82 per cent in its total income Rs 1745.12 crore during Q2FY09, as compared to Rs 730.71 crore over the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
The company, set up in 1985, is engaged primarily in manufacture and distribution of fertiliser, textiles and food processing.
