Anand Sharma given additional charge of I

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

Mr Sharma will hold the I&B portfolio during the period of indisposition of Mr P R Dasmunsi who is undergoing medical treatment following a heart attack, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique.

''The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has directed that Mr Anand Sharma, Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs be entrusted with the additional charge of Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting..,'' the communique said today.
