CM directs PMC to form study group on old dilapidated 'wadas'

Mumbai, Oct 17 (UNI) In a bid to redeem the ''wadas'' (huge traditional Maharashtrian houses), one of the major attractions of Pune, from their dilapidated condition, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today asked the Pune Municipal Corporation to form a study group and submit their report over the same.

The chief minister took up the issue of these houses, some of which are over 100 years old, in a meeting attended by legislators and officials of Pune.
