Amitabh discharged from hospital

Mumbai, Oct 17 (UNI) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was today discharged form Lilawati Hospital, after a week long treatment for acute abdominal pain.

The actor was admitted to the hospital on October 11 on his 66th birthday.

Mr Bachchan looked cheerful as he waved to the crowd outside the hospital.

He was accompanied by wife Jaya, son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Ashwariya as he left in his car for his ''Jalsa'' residence in the suburban Juhu.

Doctors have advised him complete rest for a month, film industry source said.
