Potatoes ruined in cold storages due to power crisis: RJD
Patna, Oct 16 (UNI) The RJD today alleged that the Bihar government's move to sell power to other states had led to a crisis resulting in the damage potatoes worth crores of rupees in the cold storages.
RJD national general secretary and MP Vijay Krishan, and the party's spokesperson-cum-general secretary Shyam Rajak told newspersons here that the farmers were forced to incur heavy losses due to the negligence of the state government.
'' Potatoes worth crores of rupees were ruined in the cold storages due to the non-supply of power. The government, instead of solving the crisis, sold power to other states, '' they stated in a joint statement.
