Minister plea to establish more Ayurvedic dispensaries

Tirupati, Oct 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Health Education Minister Galla Aruna Kumari today asked the TTD to establish Ayurvedic dispensaries at all TTD Kalyana Mandapams for benefit of the public.

After inaugurating the three-day Central Medical Educational Programme (CME) at SV Ayurvedic Medical College here, she said Ayurveda was an ancient system and had to be strengthened in the State.

She also asked the TTD to take more steps to propagate Ayurveda on the lines of Vedas by allocation of more funds to the SV Ayurveda Medical College.

The TTD should also take steps to provide promotions and other benefits to the doctors working in the TTD-run SV Ayurveda Hospital, she added.

In his speech, TTD Executive Officer KV Ramanachari assured to take more steps to strengthen Ayurveda which reflected the Hindu tradition.
