Kakinada, Oct 16 (UNI) Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that the Coastal industrial Corridor project mooted by the Andhra Pradesh government was only aimed at grabbing the 1575 sq km of land, notified under a GO, belonging to small and marginal farmers between Ichapuram and Thada.

Addressing a press conference here, the former Chief Minister charged that this would displace lakhs of fishermen and virtually promote real estate business under benami names.

He said the TDP would not tolerate injustice and the Congress leaders grabbing the poor farmers' lands under benami and added his party would launch a statewide stir, mobilising the support of the aggrieved people and like-minded political parties on this.

Criticising Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy for blaming the opposition parties for the state losing Tata's Nano small car project, he said it was improper on the part of the government to blame the opposition instead of owning up its failure.

Mr Naidu also criticised the Chief Minister for not visiting Bhainsa town and Vattoli soon after the violent incidents and leaving the terror-stricken people in lurch.

It shows the callousness of the Chief Minister in maintenance of law and order and ensuring safety of the people, he alleged.

He also announced that from November 1, his party would expose as many as ''100 big scandals'' involving Congress leaders in the state and the Centre.

He said the pople should also come forward to revea,l if they had any evidence, of corruption being indulged in by the state government.
