Chitra and Arvind Savur to participate in Nationals

Bangalore, Oct 16 (UNI) Australia Open Women Snooker Champion Chitra Magimairaj and Dronacharya awardee Arvind Savur will represent the Karnataka in the National Billiards and Snooker Championship to be held next month at Indore.

In a press release Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA) Honarary Secretary R Vijaya Prasad said that the Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association is hosting the 75th Senior (Men), 33rd Junior (Men), 17th Ladies and 4th Sub-Junior National Billiards and Snooker Championship-2008.

Squad: Billiards (Senior) B Bhaskar and Arvind Savur. Snooker (Sr) Sajan Bopanna, D Rajkumar.

Billiards (Jr): Mundir Sherazi and Amit Bhushan.

Snooker (Jr): Mundir Sherazi and Amit Bhushan Ladies: Chitra M and R Uma Devi would play both in Billiards and Snooker events.
