Bomb recovered in Taj city, panic prevails
Lucknow, Oct 16 (UNI) The recovery of a bomb spread panic among the people of the Taj city Agra in Antandaula area today.
According to Agra Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Narendra Srivastava, the bomb was found burried in a mound of earth in Shyamnagar colony.
The bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot to defuse the bomb, he added.
A similar panic had prevailed in Kanpur city on October 14, when a bomb explosion in Bajaraia area left six people wounded. The bomb was planted at an abondoned bicycyle in Purani Sharab Gaddi locality. Additional Director General of Police (law and order) Brijlal had, however, denied it a terrorist strike.
