22 injured in accident in Kashmir

Srinagar Oct 16: At least 22 people were injured when a bus in which they were travelling overturned at Qazigund on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, official sources said today.

They said the bus on way to Srinagar from Jammu capsized at Upper Bazar Qazigund, about 80 kms from here resulting in injuries to 22 passengers.

The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Qazigund.

Among them, five were referred to Bone and Joint Hospital here, six were referred to Shar-e-Kashmir Institute Medical Science, Soura while six others were discharged after given first aid, sources said.
