Water project at IT sites in Madurai

Madurai, Oct 16: Now, the It parks at Vadapalanji will have no water woes. As The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD) authorities would soon start work on a water supply project envisaged at an estimated cost of Rs 3.50 crore.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi laid the foundation stones for establishing IT Park at Vadapalanji and Tidel Park at Elanthaikulam in Madurai district a few months ago. The Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu is the nodal agency for the ambitious projects.

IT companies that had shown interest in setting up office in these sites were expected to start work soon, officials added.
