Punjab fencing Assn Secy Arun Vij elected Jt Secy of IOA

Patiala, Oct 15 (UNI) The secretary of Punjab Fencing Association, Arun Kumar Vij, has been elected as one of the joint secretaries of Indian Olympic Association(IOA) during the recently held general body meeting of IOA held in Pune.

The other joint secretaries of IOA are Lalit Bhanot, secretary-general of Athletic Federation of India S M Bali, secretary-general of Handball Federation of India and Harish Sharma, secretary-general of Basketball Federation of India.

Arun Vij is also the secretary-general of Fencing Association of India and vice-president of Commonwealth Fencing Federation.

Suresh Kalmadi and Raja Randhir Singh have been reelected as president and secretary-general of IOA respectively.

Former IABF president, A.K.Mattoo has been reelected as treasurer.
