Pondy traders to down shutters over Lankan Tamils' issue

Puducherry, Oct 15 (UNI) Traders in Puducherry will close down their establishments on October 17 to condemn the alleged killing of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of all the traders in the Union Territory today.

Traders Association President Moh Nizam said the meeting, while blaming the Sri Lankan Government for the killings, urged the Centre to take immediate steps to protect the Lankan Tamils.
