Passenger from Oman dies mid-air

Malappuram, Oct 15 (UNI) A passenger on board a flight from Oman died in mid-air today.

According to police, Abdul Rahim (34), a native of Chokli, near Thalassery in Kannur district, travelling by the Oman Air from the Sultanate of Oman to Karippur airport, was on his way home.

He felt uneasy the flight landed at the Karippur airport at 0730 hrs. Cardiac arrest might be the reason for his death, Oman Air officials said.

The body was sent for post-mortem, police said.
