Kerala: Passenger tries to break open flight window

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 15: Flight bound to Kochi made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram airport as a passenger tried to break open windows. An Oman Airlines flight passenger Subhash, a resident of Pala in Kottayam district displayed 'mental uneasiness', airport sources said.

Flight attenders and passengers tied him down and the flight landed at the airport here at 8:30 am. Later, an airport doctor examined Subhash and he was sent to a mental asylum before the flight left for Kochi.
