"Indi" to add to mushrooming shopping malls in Chennai

Chennai, Oct 15 (UNI) ''Indi'', from the stable of Indi Shopee Private Limited, will be the latest addition to the mushrooming shopping malls in the city.

The 1,70,000 sq ft store, which would offer a wide range of products for all ages, will be formally inaugurated on October 18, its Managing Director Sarath Kakumanu told reporters here today.

This major retail store will provide multi-level shopping comfort for the customers. The products ranged from cosmetics, perfumes, cotton and synthetic sarees, apparel for men and women, consumer electronic items, computers, mobile phones, laptops, computers, home appliances, bed room furnishing, cutlery, and a super market with provisions, vegetables and fruits.

It also has a coffee shop and an ice cream parlour.

A food court with a 30,000 sq ft facility would be added in the next two months, he said.

Refusing to disclose the quantum of investment made into this venture, Mr Sarath said this was India's first store.

''Based on the customer response, it will be expanded to other areas in the city'', he added.
