Cool winds bring relief from warm, humid weather in Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) Cool winds today brought some respite for Delhiites from the warm and humid weather of the past few days with the mercury falling to 32.7 Degrees.
After a bright sunny weather in the last couple of days, Delhiites today woke up to an overcast sky this morning. The overcast sky and high humidity level of 88 per cent led to a rise in minimum temperature to 24.2 Degrees, five degrees above normal.
The cool winds accompanying the overcast sky, however, brought down mercury later in the day with the maximum temperature being recorded at 32.7 Degree C.
The cool weather in the city is likely to persist over the next few days with weathermen forecasting some thundry development or light rain in the city in the next few days.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of thundry development or light rains in some areas.
