Advocates to boycott courts on Lanka Tamils issue
Chennai, Oct 15 (UNI)Advocates in Tamil Nadu will boycott court proceedings for two days from October 16, to express their support to Sri Lankan Tamils.
The General Body of the Madras High Court Advocate's Association (MHAA) passed a resolution to this effect today.
In a statement here MHAA President Mr R Paul Kanagaraj, said members of the Association will stage a demostration on the High Court Campus tomorrow to show their solidarity with the Tamils.
They also urged the Centre to interefere in the matter and stop the war between the army and the LTTE in Sri Lanka.
