Three die in road mishap, road blockade staged
Raisen, MP, Oct 14 (UNI) Angry people staged a road blockade for about one hour after three youths were killed on the spot when a speedy private bus rammed into their motorcycle on Vidisha-Bhopal road 17 km from here today, police said.
The bus later dashed into a high-tension electric pole and caught fire.
The road blockade was lifted after Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Abha Toppo and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Manoj Sarevyam reached the spot and pacified people.
Two victims were identified as Medaka village-residents Mangal and Sonu. The bus was enroute from Bhopal to here.
No casualty was reported from the blaze.
The bus driver was absconding, police added.
