Rijiju stresses on improving health, education scenario in Arunachal

Itanagar, Oct 14 (UNI) Lok Sabha MP Kiren Rijiju has stressed on the need to improve health and education scenario in Arunachal Pradesh for an all-round development. '' No developmental activity in true sense will be possible unless health and education scenarios in the society are improved,'' Mr Rijiju said after inaugurating a health sub-centre at Tippi under Balukphong circle of West Kameng district on Sunday, official sources today informed.

The construction of the building was executed by the state water resource department at an estimated cost of Rs ten lakh under the MP Local Area Development Fund.

Mr Rijiju felt that the maintenance of peace and tranquility were the prerequisites for any developmental activities for attracting investment in the state.

Responding to the memorandum submitted by the panchayat members, Rijiju assured of the early posting of ANM.

He also donated Rs 15,000 for the procurement of inventories and equipment for the health centre and appealed for judicious and optimum use of the money.

The MP also exhorted the students of the M E School to excel in their studies, and donated five thousand to the welfare fund of the school, sources added.
