Nritya Pratibha Festival in Aurangabad from Oct 17

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 14 (UNI) The city-based MAHAGAMI Mahatma Gandhi Mission Sangeet Academy and Sangeet Natak Akadami (Delhi) will jointly organise a five-day ''Nritya Pratibha'' Festival here from October 17.

Addressing a press conference today, MAHAGAMI chief Parvati Dutta said the programme has been organised to showcase young dance talents from the different states.

She said the festival will promote new generation of artists all over India, helping them to find a foothold on the national dance platform.

''The festival will give the audience a glimpse of all the major classical dance of India -- Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Manipuri, Odissi, Mohiniattam, Kuchipudi, Chhau and Sattriya dance,'' she said.

''This year the Festival is being organized here to give opportunity to the locals to witness all the nine Classical dances,'' she added.
