Mysore Lac and Paints earns Rs 141.56 Lakhs profit

Mysore, Oct 14 (UNI) The State owned Mysore Lack and Paints Company (Mylac) has earned a net profit of Rs 141.56 lakhs during the year 2007-08, Company Managing Director K J Suresh said today.

Addressing the 62nd annual general body meeting here, he said that the company had a turnover of Rs 801.56 lakhs during the same period.

The Company has exported Rs 276.65 lakhs worth of indelible ink, which was used during elections all over the country. It was exported to Bhutan, Ghana, Nepal and Malaysia this year.

In a press release, the company also declared a divided of 40 per cent to its shareholders.
