JK MLC's son dies mysteriously

Jammu, Oct 14: The son of Jammu and Kashmir Member of Legislative Council (MLC) died under mysterious circumstances near Surinsar, a picnic spot on the city outskirts, police sources here said today.

'' Murtaza Sabar, son of MLC Lal Mohd Sabar, resident of Mendhar, Poonch, had gone for a picnic with his friends at Surinsar,'' police said.

On way back to Jammu, Murtaza asked his friends to stop the vehicle on the main road and went behind the bushes but didn't turn up, police said.

''After waiting for long, his friends visited the spot and found Murtaza dead,'' police added.

Meanwhile police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.

''There was no injury mark on the body of the deceased while inquest proceedings under Section 174 of CrPC have been initiated,'' they added.
