Expert panel to assess pollution at Plachimada

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 14 (UNI) Kerala Water Resources Minister N K Premachandran today said an Expert Committee would be appointed to assess the damage sustained on account of pollution, allegedly caused by Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Private Limited, at Plachimada.

Talking to reporters here, he said the decision was taken on the basis of the recommendations o the state Ground Water Authority in this regard.

The Authority had recommended the government appoint a panel to assess the damages sustained on account of pollution, allegedly caused by the company.
