Four dead in Arabian Sea boat capsize near Jamnagar

Jamnagar (Gujarat), Oct 14 : A boat ferrying 22 persons from Navabandar near Jamnagar in Gujarat has capsized in the Arabian Sea on Tuesday afternoon.

According to reports, at least four bodies have been recovered. However, the death toll is likely to increase.

The Fire-brigade and police have launched rescue operations.

The ill fated boat was on its way to Piroton Island from Navabandar, when the mishap took place.

The passengers were going for prayers at a Dargah in Piroton Island.
