Three arrested with fake currency in Poonch

Jammu, Oct 13 (UNI) Three people were apprehended by the police along with fake currency amounting to Rs 25,000 in Poonch town of Jammu and Kashmir, sources said here today.

''Three suspects were arrested yesterday afternoon along with Rs 25,000 fake Indian currency in the denomination of Rs 500,'' the sources told UNI.

The accused have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed, Hafeez Khan and Aftab Ahmed while they have been put under sustained questioning.

A case has been registered against them and investigations are in progress.
