Wockhardt launches Hip-Knee clinic in Rajkot

Rajkot, Oct 12: The N M Virani Wockhardt Hospital has launched a Hip and Knee clinic here.

Briefing mediapersons here last evening on the launch, Dr Rupesh Mehta, Orthopaedic surgeon, said that in our country, majority of the old people are suffering from various types of arthritis, the patients suffering from such ailments need to be diagnosed properly so that it could be cured through surgery.

Early diagnosis of such ailments not only helps to avoid severe pain but could be cured through proper implantation, he said.

The hospital has five modern operation theatres, including a special operation theatre for arthritis patients, Dr Mehta said.
