MCC cadres set ablaze railway cabin in Jharkhand
Latehar, Oct 12 (UNI) Naxalites of the banned outfit, Maoist Communist Centre (MCC), today set ablaze the east cabin of the Latehar railway station under the SECR Barkakana-Barwadih train division in Jharkhand.
According to official sources, around 1500 hrs some armed Maoist came and overpowered the cabinman after which they set fire on the cabin and fled to the woods shouting anti police slogans.
Meanwhile, other group of the outfit blocked the vehicular movement at the the Latehar-Navagarh Saryu road and fired ten rounds in the air causing tension in the region, sources said.
However, police rushed to the spot immediately after getting the information.
Police Suprintendent Saryug Baida said the MCC wanted to register their presence in the region, to accomplish this they had committed this crime.
