Fourth phase of "Kalyanamasthu" on Nov 2: TTD Chairman

Anantapur, Oct 12 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman D K Audikesavulu said the fourth phase of "Kalyanamasthu" programme would be conducted in all the 294 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh on November 2.

Speaking at the "Kalyanamasthu" awareness programme here yesterday, he said the (TTD) would provide gold Mangalasuthram, silver Mettelu and new clothes to the bride and bridegroom and conduct a wedding feast for the relatives of newly-wedded couple free of cost.

He said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy had asked the TTD to conduct as many marriages as possible under "Kalyanamasthu" so that more poor people were benefited.

The fourh phase of "Kalyanamasthu" would be conducted on the auspicious time between 1055 hrs and 1110 hrs in moola star of Thanurlagnam, he added.

Speaking on the occasion state Agriculture Minister Raghuveera Reddy asked the administration to ensure that all the needy and interested couple utilised the programme.
