Mumbai: Businessman's house robbed

Mumbai, Oct 11: Unidentified persons made away with robbed jewellery and cash worth Rs 16.15 lakh from the house of a businessman at Mahim in northcentral Mumbai.

Mr Vijay Kulswar's wife Vidya Vijay Kulswar, who is a housewife, had left for their relatives' place at around 1330 hours yesterday and after returning in the night she found that the lock of the door was broken, clothes in the cupboard were scattered in the room and ornaments worth Rs 15.45 lakh along with Rs 70,000 cash were missing, according to the complaint filed by Ms Kulswar.

A case of house breaking has been registered and further investigation is in progress, police said here today.
