Punjab govt deputes senior officers for paddy procurement

Chandigarh, Oct 10 (UNI) The Punjab Government has deputed seniors from the state headquarters to supervise the ongoing paddy procurement operations in the state.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesman said that districts had been assigned to individual officers for this purpose.

The officers have been asked to undertake extensive tours of the mandis. All issues relating to procurement of paddy would be supervised by them within their assigned districts.
