Washington, Oct 10 : After cancelling a number of performances due to an undisclosed illness, Janet Jackson is thrilled to resume her 'Rock Witchu' Tour this weekend.
The R 'n' B singer had to postpone shows in Montreal, Greensboro, N.C., Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., following the brief hospitalisation.
"Janet, who has been under her doctor's care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever," People quoted a statement from promoter Live Nation to Access Hollywood as saying.
The 42-year-old singer's first concert back will be in Uncasville, Connecticut on Oct 11.
Jackson was admitted to a Montreal hospital hours before her concert was scheduled to start on Sept 29.
Later doctors advised her to rest until she was fully recuperated from her illness, causing her to postpone more shows.
