Curfew relaxed in Maharashtra's Dhule district

Dhule (Maharashtra) Oct 10 : Maharashtra government's efforts to establish peace in riot-hit Dhule district seem to be successful.

No incidence of violence has been reported in the last 24 hours. Curfew has been relaxed from 9 am to 12 p.m. today

State Government has opened seven relief camps for affected people.

Clashes began on Sunday morning at Lal Kandil Chowk after people of two communities allegedly clashed when banners of a Hindu outfit were found damaged.

Police had to fire in the air and use tear-gas to control the mob.
