Woman jumps to death in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Oct 9 (UNI) A 45-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide today by jumping off the terrace of a 10-storey building in Naranpura area of the city.

Pushpa Prajapati was suffering from some chronic illness and was depressed. This morning, on the concluding day of Navratri festival, she reached the terrace of the building and jumped to death.

A suicide note was recovered from her possession and her body was sent for post-mortem, police said, adding a case of suicide has been registered.
