Curfew relaxed for 2 hours in Dhule in Maharashtra

Dhule, Oct 9: The indefinite curfew, clamped in this riot-hit city of the North Maharahstra last Sunday after the outbreak of communal violence, was relaxed for two hours from 0900 hrs to 1100 hrs on Thursday, Oct 9 on the occasion of Dussehra, official sources said.

Meanwhile, the toll in the group clashes has mounted to nine with the death of two more persons in stone-pelting incidents last night.

Police said no untoward incident was reported during the two hours of curfew relaxation this morning and the situation was gradually limping to normalcy.
