CBI arrests NCTE offficials

Jaipur, Oct 9 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has nabbed red handed two members of the National Council of Teachers' Education (NCTE) inspection squad, while accepting bribe for granting recognition to two private colleges.

According to official sources, the accused--Kaushalendra Yadav and Amrita Maheswari-were nabbed from a hotel room here yesterday for accepting a bribe from the representatives of the two private colleges.

A cash of Rs 1.82 lakh was also recovered from the room, the sources added UNI SS SW KP1210
