A historic day: PoK trade delegation head Abbasi

Salamabad, Uri, Oct 9 (UNI) Describing it a historic day, the head of the 19-member- trade delegation from Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK) Zulfikar Abbasi said, ''we have come with a message of love and peace.'' Immediately after getting clearance from the Indian officials, Mr Abbasi told newspersons that it was historic day in 60-year relationship between the two parts of the Kashmir which were divided in 1947.

Our broken hearts will again get united, Mr Abbasi said after failing to control his emotions.

He said only 19 members came here as two other members, who were also scheduled to join the delegation, stayed back for some personnel reasons.

Mr Abbasi said they have come with the message of love and peace from the people of '' Pakistan occuped Kashmir''.

He said resumption of trade ties would benefit both the sides.

In reply to a question he said it would not be a symbolic trade but a full trade between the people living on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).
