Tata motors workers union VP arrested with stranger woman

Jamshedpur, Oct 8 (UNI) A top leader of Tata motors workers union was beaten up by a mob and handed over to the police in the wee hours today when he was allegedly caught in amorous condition with a stranger woman in a secluded house under Telco police station in this Industrial city.

Police said Unions vice-president Shatrughn Singh along with a woman was arrested from a secluded house of riverview colony.

A mob gathered for ongoing Durga Puja celebration nearby, beat up the couple and locked the door before informing the police.

They have been sent for medical check up in police custody.

Tata Motors has a heavy vehicle manufacturing plant here and the union is deemed a powerful body.
