Mayawati greets people on Dussehra
Lucknow, Oct 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Navratra and Vijaydashmi (Dussehra).
In a note, Ms Mayawati said festivals hold an important place in Indian culture. Dussehra not only marks the victory of good over the evil, but also stregnthens cultural integrity.
Besides, it inspires people to follow the path of truth.
The UP CM further appealed the people to observe the festival with religious fervour and gaiety in the atmosphere of peace and harmony.
