Kidwai, Hooda greet people on Dussehra eve
Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda greeted the people on the eve of Dussehra.
In his message, the Governor said the festival of Dussehra was a symbol of victory of good on evil and justice on injustice.
''We should make efforts to eradicate the evils of casteism, untouchability, hatred, female foeticide, dowry and corruption from the society and the festival of Dussehra should be celebrated with a spirit of peace, love, brotherhood and communal harmony,'' he said.
In his message, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda urged the people to celebrate this festival in its true spirit to usher in peace and happiness in their lives.
''We should follow the path of righteousness and celebrate the festival in a cordial atmosphere to promote communal amity and feeling of brotherhood,'' he said.
