Gen Rodrigues greets people on Dussehra

Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gen (Retd) SF Rodrigues has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.

In his message, General Rodrigues said, "The festival of Dussehra, which signifies the triumph of good over evil, is being celebrated in our country from time immemorial. It reflects our firm belief in truthfulness and righteousness, the cardinal principles of virtuous and purposeful living." The Governor appealed to the people to celebrate this festival collectively rising above petty considerations of caste, creed and religion, thus demonstrating unity, brotherhood and the oneness of mankind.
