Bandh by NCP Doctors cell on Oct 10
Nashik, Oct 08 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Doctors cell will observe a silent march on October 10, in protest against the attacks on doctors.
''All the doctors from Nashik district will participate in this agitation. The morcha will be organised from Hutatma Smarak to the district collectorate office,'' NCP Doctor cell city president Dr Mangesh Jadhav said in a press conference here today.
An act, which will consider the attack as a cognizable and non-bailable crime, will be the main demand of the striking doctors.
MLA Dr Kamod, former health minister Dr Daulatrao Aher and doctors from all medical faculties will participate in the morcha.
All the medical services, except the emergency, will remain closed. Doctors will wear-black ribbons during the silent march. A memorandom of demands will be given to the district collector to convey the doctors' demand to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil.
