APCC asks partymen not to work against party
Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee(APCC) President D Srinivas today warned the partymen against supporting the no confidence motion against the party Mandal Parishad Presidents and Municipal Chairpersons.
Addressing a press conference here he said some partymen were planning to move a no confidence motion against the Chairpersons of the Muncipalities and the Presidents of the Mandal Parishads.
He advised the partymen to desist from such activities and added that the party would take severe action against those who worked against its interests.
The partymen could lodge their complaints to the APCC against any Mandal Parishad Presidents or Municipal Chairpersons and the party would examine it and take action, Mr Srinivas said.
On Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS)'s move to come to an understanding with the Communist Party of India (Marxist) with a view to defeat the Congress, he said it was TRS President Chandrasekhara Rao to decide as the same party opposed the formation of separate Telagnana when they were in UPA. Ulitmately people would decide to which party they would vote depending on the credibility of the parties, he added.
