Youth wing of JD(United) appeals CM to restore library

Tiruchirpalli, Oct 7 (UNI) Secretary of All India Youth wing of Janata Dal (United) A Vaiyapuri appealed to the TamiL Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to restore the library named after late Tamil scholor Dr K A P Viswanatham at Collectorate here.

In a letter to Mr Karunanidhi and District Collector T Soundiah in this connection, a copy of which was made available to press here today, Mr Vaiyapuri pointed out that the library was started in 1995 by the Tamil literature peravai of the District revenue officials association and utilised by visitors to the library and like minded persons.

But all of sudden the library was dislocated and the building which housed it was allowed to function some other departments.
