Pune hotel receives bomb threat
Pune, Oct 7 (UNI) Panic gripped the city when a hotel at the busy Fergusson College Road here received an anonymous call, threatening to blow it up, but it turned out to be a hoax today.
According to police, the owner of Hotel Rupali received the call at around 1100 hrs that a bomb had been planted in its premises, and would explode soon.
Police along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad immediately launched a search after asking people to vacate the hotel, but found nothing suspicious, police said.
