Mettur water level 73.96 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 7 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 73.96 feet this morning.

The inflow into the reservoir was 10,552 cusecs and the discharge 19,998 cusecs, PWD sources said.

From the Grand Anaicut, 3,041 cusecs of water was released through River Cauvery, 9,039 cusecs through Vennar, 3,514 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 1,635 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
