Indian-origin comedian Russel Peters to tour India again

Mumbai, 0ct 7 (UNI) Russell Peters, one of the world's finest comedy superstars who traces his maternal ancestory to Kolkata, is all set to entertain audiences across the country yet again.

Starting Bangalore, Russell will perform there on October 18, in Kolkata on October 23, in Mumbai on October 27 and finally in Delhi on October 28. His tour features not only his 'greatest hits' of the past 20 years, but also new material since his last visit to the country in 2007.

Being of Indian origin, he enjoys the support of the community living abroad. The Anglo-Indian was born in Toronto and grew up in Brampton, Ontario. His family moved to Brampton in 1975. He presently lives in Los Angeles, a release here today said.

Speaking of his Kolkata connection, he says ''All of my mother's family, going back to my great grandmother, was born in Calcutta.
