Ganguly got two threat letters to kidnap his daughter

Kolkata, Oct 7 (UNI) Cricketer Sourav Ganguly's wife, Dona got two letters, including one received ten days ago threatening to kidnap their daughter Sana for a ransom of Rs two crore, according to CID sources today.

The first one was sent by post to their residence a month ago, the sources informed.

The sources further informed that it was not clear who sent the letters but the Gangulys were worried after receiving the second letter and they appraoched the CID.

Meanwhile, addressing the media at Bangalore to announce his reitrement, former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly disclosed that his family had received threats of his daughter being kidnapped.

Devang Gandhi, who earlier represented India in a few number of matches, felt that the southpaw had taken a brave decision, adding he must have thought before taking it.
